Germany’s most established Pride parade takes place every year in June and where most other German cities spread their CSD festivities over several days, the German capital limits theirs to just one day. But be assured, for that one day they pull out absolutely all the stops. The revelry kicks off at 12 noon with the second biggest parade in Germany. Around 500,000 spectators wave, whistle and cheer as the procession moves past them towards its destination at the prominent Siegessäule (Victory Column). Expect a lot of participation from the political, cultural and showbiz quarters.
